![I Want Minecraft Pocket Edition I Want Minecraft Pocket Edition](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/f9pC2tOkWJI/maxresdefault.jpg)
The easiest way to run a command in Minecraft is within the chat window. The game control to open the chat window depends on the version of Minecraft:
I Want Minecraft Pocket Edition Minecraft
- For Java Edition (PC/Mac), press the T key to open the chat window.
- For Pocket Edition (PE), tap on the chat button at the top of the screen.
- For Xbox One, press the D-Pad (right) on the controller.
- For PS4, press the D-Pad (right) on the controller.

- For Education Edition, press the T key to open the chat window.
2. Type the Command
In this example, we will teleport the player named DigMinecraft to the coordinates (-203, 63, 255):
Type the command in the chat window. As you are typing, you will see the command appear in the lower left corner of the game window. Press the Enter key to run the command.
Once the cheat has been entered, the entity will be teleported to the new coordinates.
In this example, DigMinecraft has been teleported to the coordinates (-202.5, 63.0, 255.5).
TIP: The /teleport command may adjust your teleportation coordinates slightly to avoid teleporting you partially inside of an object.
In this example, DigMinecraft was teleported to (-202.5, 63.0, 255.5) even though we entered (-203 63 255) as the destination coordinates.
Congratulations, you just learned how to use the /teleport command in Minecraft!
